- I love how FIFA constantly feels that it must continually re-affirm that the 2010 World Cup will be in South Africa. Is it for their nerves or the South Africans?

Actually, I think Alexi is right. You have five clubs in the EPL that enjoy such an economic advantage over the rest that quality has to suffer. Yes, in every league there are dramatic differences between the #1 in the table and the #19. But in the EPL there are huge differences between the #4 and the #9.
As a consequence the league competition is pretty ho-hum.
