Rooney Cleared for Cup
Wayne Rooney was cleared today to fully rejoin the England National Team in their World Cup preparation. A scan was taken on his broken right foot in Manchester and according to the FIFA website, he has been cleared for match play. It is expected that Rooney will be match fit for the 2nd round.
LA Galaxy hire Frank Yallop as Manager
Former 2 time MLS Cup champion Frank Yallop was named yesterday as Steve Sampson's replacement in LA. Yallop was immediately released from his coaching position as the coach for the Canadian National Team. He begins his stint with the Galaxy tonight as they host Chivas USA. Unfortunately, a coaching change will not yield any different results for the Galaxy.
