Tony needs to retire

Tony Meloa watched Clint Dempsy's second goal today in the MLS match on ESPN2. Dempsey took the shot, weak and slow, across the goalmouth going left to right. Meola was standing at the top of the 6 yard box, on Duece's right. He stood there and watched the ball roll from his right to his left, in front of him. He watched the damn ball! No wonder RBNY sucks. They have a goalkeeper who decides when he will make saves. Moments before, Meola made two great saves, snap decisions. Then he decides to watch the ball.

An other RBNY comment. I am noticing that Youri Djorkaeff isn't on the field for the Bulls...wonder where he is? I heard that he left the club for personal reasons. I wonder what that might have meant? Could he have decided that he wanted to be in the stands when Zidane might be playing his last match? ESPN's cameras caught Djorkaeff in the stands watching Les Blues sack Les Samba Boys. Sorta reminds me of "Ferris Bueller's Day Off," when he is caught at the Cub's game.
