Now others are writing about it.
Frank Dell'Apa wrote an interesting article that outlines the need for the USSF to enter the US National team in the 2007 Copa America. Funny, I wrote about that very same topic earlier, and had several of the same points, namely using the two team concept. Anyway, he has some good points and hopefully the idea coming from him will lend some credence for the idea.
DC United and 1 – 0 victories
DC United picked up another 1-0 victory last night as they invaded the Deep Dish in Frisco, Texas and kept FC Toro’s off the board for the 3 points. Gomez scored the game winner. Alecko played and almost scored himself in the 90th minute. This weekend they head up to Columbus and take on the Crew, the club that they smacked in a 5-1 drubbing earlier this season. They have a return match with the Crew the following weekend, sandwiching the friendly match against Celtic.
