Target Audience/Player Pool?

I came across an article in the Washingtonpost.com about legal Latino immigrants that play in several of the "rec" leagues in the Washington, D.C. area. I am starting to wonder if this is the untapped audience that DC United is not catering to. Simply from the viewpoint as a United supporter, I am wondering if any of these guys are good enough to warrant a try out with the club?

In any case, it was an interesting article about the soccer environment in our area.
